  • Avanzare Vocal Ensemble

    Founded in 2019, Avanzare Vocal Ensemble is proud to be a Conroe based singing ensemble. We regularly program not just standard choral literature but dig deeply into the vast canon of choral music, both new and old. From Renaissance motets to contemporary and new choral compositions, we are delighted to offer our singers and audience a musical experience that usually requires driving all the way to Houston. By bringing this level of quality to Conroe, we hope to inspire our audiences and local community to further promote the importance and necessity of community art. Brandon Ramos is the conductor and artistic director.

  • Christian Youth Theater

    CYT is an after school children’s theatre arts training program for students ages 4 - 18. It is a musical theare arts program and is a non-profit 501 (c)3 educational organization.

  • Conroe Art League

    Conroe Art League is a nonprofit organization housed in The Gallery at The Madeley Building. Art education is a top priority for CAL with on-going classes in the gallery in many mediums.

  • Conroe Live

    The exclusive purpose of Conroe Live, Inc. is to provide the people of Conroe and of Texas with literary, scientific, arts, entertainment, educational and cultural events, and to support the production of arts, entertainment, educational, literary, scientific and cultural activities by developing and maintaining an infrastructure that allows for multi-use of venues and related supplies, materials and equipment to that effect.

  • Conroe Symphony Orchestra

    is a community orchestra made up of committed professional musicians and talented amateur musicians from all walks of life. It was founded the summer of 1997 with the Mission of “adding to the cultural enrichment of the community, assuring a better quality of life for the Conroe area.”

  • Crighton Theatre Foundation

    The Crighton Theatre is a truly historic theatre built in 1934, and is the home base for performances offered by Stage-Right Productions, Montgomery County Performing Arts Society, Sounds of Texas Music Series and Christian Youth Theatre.

  • Friends of the Flag Foundation

    The Lone Star Monument and Historical Flag Park showcases Montgomery County as the birthplace of the Lone Star Flag with flags that flew during Texas’s fight for independence.

  • Golden Needles Quilt Guild

    The Golden Needles Quilt Guild was created as a charitable organization serving the women and children of Montgomery County. At this time, the Guild gives a scholarship to a local Montgomery County student each year as well as donates quilts to Montgomery County Women's Shelter, Pregnancy Assistance Center North, Yes To Youth!, and Children's Protective Services.

  • Grace Pointe Dance

    Description goes hereGrace Pointe Dance offers Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Hip Hop, POM classes and dance competition teams in our studios at the campus of First Christian Church Conroe. Grace Pointe Dance opened our doors the Fall of 2017 and we are celebrating our 5th season. Grace Pointe Dance's vision is to offer excellence in dance education as a way to glorify God.

  • Heritage Museum of Montgomery County

    The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County is a sesquicentennial project started in 1985, and features exhibits chronicling the county’s roots, from the lumber and oil industries to the everyday lives of Montgomery County residents. The Museum is housed in the historic Grogan/Cochran home, built in 1924.

  • Indie Films Foundation

    Indie Films Foundation supports the Indie Film Industry. They produce movies and teach filmmaking. Their first film, Shattered Lives - the movie, is currently under production.

  • Jazz Connection

    Jazz Connection is a non-profit organization that has created a jazz ensemble for young musicians from area Junior High and High Schools. The program is geared toward students that are interested in a comprehensive approach to jazz, swing, rock, R&B, and improvisation.

  • Montgomery County Choral Society

    Montgomery County Choral Society is a non-profit organization formed in 1972 to bring great choral music of the world to Montgomery County and Montgomery County to great choral music.

  • Montgomery County Genealogical and Historical Society

    The Montgomery County Genealogical and Historical Society’s goal is to locate, research, preserve and publish genealogical and historical records through education and support of the Montgomery County Memorial Library-the official repository of all original records held by the society.

  • Montgomery County Historical Commission

    Montgomery County Historical Commission is a quasi-governmental entity under the auspices of Montgomery County Commissioner’s Court. Funds are controlled by the Montgomery County Auditor’s Office with a goal of assisting in the promotion of our local community’s cultural aspect including History within the realm of the Arts.

  • Montgomery County Literary Arts Council

    Montgomery County Literary Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in 1993 to bring the most distinguished minds and their bright visions to the citizens of Montgomery County. They have hosted writers and poets including winners of the Pulitzer Prize, National Book Award, and Poet Laureates.

  • Players Theatre Company

    Players Theatre Company is Montgomery County's Oldest Theater Organization offering 7 main stage productions each year at the Owen Theatre in downtown Conroe, Texas.

  • Stage Right

    Stage Right is the resident theater company of the historic Crighton Theatre. Stage Right a non-profit community theater organization offering 6 productions to over 25,000 patrons each year. Bravo Company is Stage Right's children's performing arts school offering classes and performances on the Crighton stage for ages 5 - 18.

  • The Art of Music Studio

    The Art of Music Studio has served Montgomery County for over 35 years with year round private lessons, group classes, buddy classes and summer camps for ages 4yr - Adults. Classes include piano/keyboard, guitar, violin, viola, cello, drums/percussion, voice/singing, bass, ukulele, mandolin, harmonica, woodwinds, Christian drama, stage drama, musical theatre, and preschool music.

  • The Woodlands Show Chorus

    The Woodlands Show Chorus is an eighty-plus person auditioned a cappella chorus in the greater Conroe area. The mission of The Woodlands Show Chorus is to strive for musical excellence through education, competition, and community involvement. They were the Regional Chorus Champions in 2017 and were an International Medalist Winner in 2016.

  • Young Texas Artists Music Competition

    Young Texas Artists Music Competition is an official music competition of the State of Texas. YTA was created in 1983 to encourage excellence in young musicians and to further artistic growth throughout the state of Texas. The judges are distinguished artists and the candidates are pursuing a career in classical music.
