The raffle winner will win a 11 x14 portrait painted by
award winning artist, Juan Cantavella, of themselves or person of their choice.

Juan Cantavella was born in Orleans, France, in 1941 and grew up in Venezuela after his family moved there following World War II. His passion for art began at age 15, teaching himself to paint despite pursuing architecture at the Central University of Venezuela, where he graduated in 1974. Family and career kept painting a hobby for many years, but after moving to the United States in 2002 and retiring in 2015, he devoted himself fully to art. A self-taught realist painter known for portraits and still lifes, Cantavella has earned national recognition, becoming a Signature Member of both the Oil Painters of America and the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society. His work has been exhibited in galleries across the United States, featured in The Artist’s Magazine, and collected by private collectors, and today he also teaches oil painting at the Conroe Art League and in private studio classes.
